“ Had business in the area and was headed to Shelton for lunch. The place there had mixed reviews, but we thought that it would be okay, as they weren't deal breakers. Taylor Station caught my eye as we were driving to Shelton. Did a quick detour, read their reviews and thought "Why not?". Glad we stopped. Had great service by the awesome Chloe. She was friendly and attentive. Menu offered a great variety of choices.The seafood platter was great. Awesome clam chowder too. Nice and thick with solid flavour. My wife had her first Monte Cristo and is now a fan. It was spot on. Place fills up at lunch and seems to draw a lot of regulars. Plenty of parking, full bar, ample dining areas. It's a keeper. ”

“ 1st time eating here a few weeks ago. Breakfast was amazing. My wife had the Oysters and eggs. Six fried Oysters served with eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit, delicious. I ordered The country fried steak and eggs. I had it served with home fries and Sour dough toast. If you like onions, red and green peppers with your potatoes, you are going to love their home fries. You better come hungry, the portion sizes are large. Eat some and take some home. We had very good table service. I came back to try tje Oyster dinner. I was not disappointed. This was a positive dining experience. ”

“ I ordered the fish and chips and it was exactly what I expected. No weird cuts, no bizaar extra seasoning in the batter, and boy was it done perfectly. The fish was flaky and moist while the batter was cooked throughout. Service was excellent, just enough attention to be personable and attentive but not insert themselves. Not any sort of draw back for me but karaoke was in the lounge and though a room away provided plenty of typical karaoke entertainment. Though Taylor Station is out of my way, when passing through I'll be stopping again if hungry. ”

“ We camp around the mason lake area and wanted to go to a breakfast spot. My husband found this place right off 101. Ample parking and cozy restaurant. While the outside gives off Denny’s like diner it’s far from that. The quality of the food here is very good. My husband and son enjoyed the biscuits and gravy some of the best they’ve had. I tried their fish and chips and they were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend. Their coffee is really good too. If you don’t like Denny’s bland dishes come here for a good local breakfast (or lunch). The ladies working there were all nice, quick coffee refill and checking in on us. We will be back here again. ”
